Modern Mod
I wanted to recreate a my version of a 60s Mod look. Inspired by the London mod culture and watching many drama based films, it was a style I always seen and wanted to try out. Using material upcycled from a satin circle skirt, the vibrant yellow mini dress is constructed into a simple shift panelled silhouette. Paired with a matching headband to complete the look, I wanted to create an outfit which was fun and colourful.
70s Halter
This 70s style hater top was inspired by the reoccurring summer trend during 2020. Flares, crop tops and a- line skirts made a comeback, to which I decided to follow the trend. Made from Indonesian batik cotton and lined with polyester, the top is joined by ties creating an open back. The top is universal and can be dressed up or down, with the 70s style cut the fabric gives it a modernised update.
