Architectural Stance

This is an Avant Garde outfit inspired by international modern and historical architecture from around the world. Taking shapes, structure and surface of the building to create a fluid and romantic silhouette. Using subtraction cutting, it consists of a dramatic strapless dress made with white cotton drill material. The top is made with ivory sweat shirting material draped to fall off the shoulder, creating a tiered affect. I wanted to challenge myself using new construction methods and fabrics. This was one of my fav projects in my 3rd year of university.
